This large secondary school based in Dudley is looking for an English teacher to start in September to cover a member of staff going on maternity leave.
You should have at least 2 years experience of teaching English across Key Stage 3 & 4. Have good behaviour management, be enthusiastic, pro-active and be able to inspire pupils to want to do better.
The schools mission is to provide an excellent education for their students and a focus for community activity. They work together with many local partners including local primary schools and Birmingham Children’s Services in order that the young people in their care achieve the very best that they can.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a hard working and passionate SEN and inclusion/ Psychology graduate focused on becoming a primary teacher or an Educational or Clinical Psychologist. This role will see you work full time basis providing support to SEN pupils but also pupils how struggle with communication and confidence within class.
The SENCO is keen to recruit a high calibre graduate who will build rapport quickly, act as a good role model to the pupils and become a valuable member within the inclusion centre.
The graduate needs to have a good work ethic, be committed, empathetic and have a genuine interest in working with children with special needs. You will need to set expectations but adapt a calm and patient approach in working with the pupils. This post is due to start in September until the end of the academic year. You will receive ample support and guidance from the SENCO and school staff but you must be able to work on your own initiative.
Due to the location of the school, it is easily commutable and 10 minutes walk from bus stops and train links. If you do drive there, the school have off road parking.

This September, due to the retirement of the current SENCO the school is looking to appoint a dynamic, reliable and experienced Primary SENCO from September 2013. You will be required to lead a very successful Learning Support Department, with a team of x 10 experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants which also includes a HLTA.
As part of the role, you will be the first point of contact for new pupils entering the school. You will run assessments and create individual learning plans with the help of the LSA’s. This role has no teaching responsibility but you will effectively lead your team whilst ensuring all pupils are making progress.
The school is looking for a candidate with vast experience of a wide range of complex special educational needs, a skilled leader with a primary sector.
If you have the experience of leading a professional team of achievers and you want to work in a school that is dedicated to ensuring all their pupils succeed then this could be the perfect job for you.
The Headteacher will only be interested in candidates that have a proven track record of success, have experience in Special Needs and understands the SEN code of practice. Mainstream experience is also essential.
