As the preferred supplier for Tower Hamlets, Randstad Education are proud to be working in partnership with a beautiful nursery school which has been accredited by Ofsted as being Outstanding. The school is an ethnically diverse nursery that due to its success is heavily over subscribed. The community ethos at the school is evident from the moment you walk through the door. The staff turnover is minimal however they require regular supply teachers to cover pre planned and sickness absence. The nursery is 3 form entry which has up to 100 pupils at any one time, split equally between morning and afternoon sessions. The school has a unique out door area which is used in rain, wind and shine so any one wanting to teach there must be willing to stick on a pair of boots and get stuck in with the outdoor area being used as an additional classroom. This is a nursery school which believes in educational play and although pupils are assigned to a 'class' they have the run of the 3 specially designed classroom which have technology, science, reading and home areas. This is a particularly active little school where you will be on the go from the moment you start. The staff briefings in the morning are thorough to ensure you have enough information to provide a high level of education and care. The school welcomes an engaging teaching style where although educational play is encouraged the head teacher likes staff who will engage and involve the pupils if they are in the classroom or out in the garden area. In return you will benefit from regular supply work in this friendly and community focussed school. To apply to join the supply pool for the school you must possess an EYFS teaching qualification, a current CRB and 2 year referencing history.
